Do you have an awesome costume? Do you want to show it off? Do you want to win some sweet prizes at the same time? Then our Costume Contest is for you! If you don't have a costume, come check out your fellow nerds' handiwork. With a panel of celebrity judges, our costume contest will rock your socks off.
Come on our stage in your best TV, Sci-Fi, Anime, Video Game, Comic, or just plain geeky costume, to compete in our costume contest. Talk a bit about how you made your costume, or just tell us why you're so great that you deserve to win.
Contest Rules
- Contest is a walk-on competition for showcasing costumes and talent is open to Cosplayers of all levels and abilities.
- All applications must be submitted physically to the contest registration table before pre-judging; there is no online entry.
- Each contestant may only enter one costume into competition.
- Plan to limit your presentation to 2 minutes in length.
- Purchased or Rental costumes are prohibited.
- No fire, smoke, fog, dry ice, wind machines, lasers, liquids or otherwise messy or dangerous substances.
- stage must be left in the same condition as it was in before you entered. If you will be leaving anything (props, pieces of costume, etc), arrange to have it picked up by the stage crew beforehand.
- Nothing must leave your person while you are on the stage i.e: throwing objects, projectiles, etc.
- Costumes must be self contained.
- No profanity allowed on stage, including messages on signs or clothes.
- No nudity or depictions of sexual acts.
- Enter and exit the stage only at designated points.
- Interaction with the MC is prohibited.
- No animals are allowed.
